imagine dreaming about eurovision since you're a kid, you make it there, you're a favourite, you dedicate your performance to your deceased parents - and suddenly your participation is at risk and israeli "fans" are mocking the death of your father. joost deserves better

How did Israel get so many votes you ask? You had people doing this type of thing. Then there was a large number of pro Modi Indian accounts rally together to vote Israel. They had adverts in TIMES SQUARE. The "rest of the world" part of the voting system is completely broken.

the worst has been avoided. does this mean we're gonna pretend everything is fine? absolutely not. the higher-ups of the EBU HAVE TO resign. the way they've handled this year is atrocious, allowing the artists to be harassed relentlessly, repeatedly exposing their incompetence
