My husband called from the airport yesterday coughing and said that his eyes were red. Said it was "just a cold." I demanded that he stay overnight at a rental and take a same-day PCR in town today. He just tested positive and is mad at me for "being right."

- My 82-year-old mother is going to restaurants, movies, PT, etc. and has ditched her mask. I quit. I cannot save these people from themselves.
- Replying to @amethystarlightI wish. I'm just relieved that he agreed to take the PCR, stay out there, and not come near me. I'm immensely grateful that he didn't have to fight for his life at the ER last night. Wouldn't wish that on anyone, no matter how careless they've been.
- Replying to @Silver_Lining76No, Becka, it's much worse than a cold. Educate yourself.
- I finally went to my GP for the first time in five years wearing goggles and an Aura N95. He said,"That's a little overkill, don't you think?" To which I replied, "I was going to wear a PAPR." He had no idea what a PAPR is, and of course I told him more than he wanted to hear.
- My brother-in-law who is a multi-millionaire just returned from Hawaii with four kids. He suspects that they have Covid, but he won't test because he "doesn't want to know."
- What do you say to someone who's been brainwashed into thinking that the pandemic is over and is trying to force their way into your home for the holidays?
- Replying to @StillMaskSigh is right. I just hope that he avoids acquiring the post-infection rage.
- π§΅My husband's parents died within weeks of each other last December. No tests were taken, no masks were worn prior to their deaths. Their ashes are being scattered next Sunday with elderly family members from around the country flying in to stay at the same house.1/
- Ok, so Madonna was found unresponsive in NYC on Saturday, and we're just hearing about this now? And her story is buried under many other stories on NBC. Strangeness at its finest.
- So what are we going to do when all executive function is lost, and anger takes over? I'm seeing this, and it concerns me.
- Replying to @VioletBadgerOh, if you guys didn't get the memo...he tested positive yesterday.
- All trust lost. My husband just went out for a 2+mile walk around the neighborhood without a mask on.
- Professors are telling students testing positive for Covid to come in and take their final exams at the uni anyway. Parents are supporting this decision.
