- NGL when I was in law school there were plenty of broke 30 year olds who are now making 300k + at their law firm jobs. It’s definitely an investment and there is risk involved (if you don’t do well). But if you do well (graduate in top 20%) you can set yourself up very nicely.its not shocking to me that a lawyer suggested going to law school at 30 if you are broke bc they the only ones tht would say some dumb shit like tht. if im broke at 30 i need money NOW. this is a dire situation. someone who can attend law school at 30 is privileged in a few ways
