Since many have asked today, all approved covid vaccinations are VERY effective in preventing normal lungs (on the L) from looking like ones that need life support (on the R) Please pass it on: the brand doesn’t matter, as all will prevent severe illness from occurring.

My dad, a few hours north of New Delhi, tested + for coronavirus with a high viral load 4 weeks ago. He was fully vaxed, had mild symptoms, didn’t progress. He’s ~ 80 Two of our relatives, not yet vaxed, otherwise healthy, < 50 yrs, were also + and sadly just passed Get vaxed!

I get my vaccine tomorrow and I’m grateful to the scientists who labored to make this day happen After the 2nd dose 21 days later, I will continue masking, distancing and avoiding travel, until Dr Fauci says otherwise. Stay vigilant, ignore the noise, normalcy is ahead.

Chest CT film from my very young, unvaccinated patient with severe covid, now requiring 100% oxygen. EVERY patient on life support with covid in our hospital has yet to receive the vaccine. I bet all of them thought they didn’t need it. Get the vaccine!

Teachers and support staff in schools should be fully vaccinated before they’re expected to return to in-person instruction. Doing otherwise is wrong and unjust to teachers nationwide.
