One of my favorite BTS stories about Beast Games is that he thought his YouTube crew should have creative control, but they didn’t know how to use Avid editing software. So they cut this massive show with thousands of cameras in Adobe Premiere.

Anyway BORDERLANDS had a script from the writer of CHERNOBYL and THE LAST OF US that was by all accounts excellent and then auteur writer/director Eli Roth wanted to “tweak things” and the rest is Hollywood history

Friends, Adobe Premiere is wonderful but it is not designed for something of this scale. It’d be like doing VFX for a Star Wars movie in Blender.

WEAPONS is fantastic. You probably already know that. But I could not predict how hilarious it would be, just by letting people react like they really would to insane situations. Julia Garner’s “Fucking help me!!!” to the gas station cashier is stupendously funny.
