Post Office stole in excess of £75,000 from my dad - he had to cash-in his Royal Mail pension, sell mother’s family heirlooms and assets in order to repay the Horizon generated shortfall. He is disabled. Ed Davey could’ve stopped it. #PostOfficeScandal lbc.co.uk/news/vipin-pat…

The catastrophic harm Post Office has inflicted to Postmasters around the country is unforgivable. My father’s health will never improve and sadly get worse, yet Post Office continues to harm claimants by so-called Public Interest cases and humiliating them. #PostOfficeScandal

Mother and father in recent times - as much as I concentrate on my fathers deteriorating health problems brought on by #PostOfficeScandal, it’s important I express how happy mum is with dads bravery - I hope victims of #PostOfficeScandal that get their convictions overturned soon

14 years ago today, Post Office came into our village shop and alleged a £34k shortage and suspended dad - what followed was not only the malicious prosecution of dad but sinister harassment towards my parents by some in the community. 14 years and #PostOfficeScandal continues!

Post Office's fraud team got BONUSES for each postmaster they jailed: Investigators including man who dismissed Horizon victims as 'crooks' were given thousands of pounds and have KEPT the cash. Gary Thomas was my dad’s investigator 👀 #PostOfficeScandal

I recall being at the High Court, it was emotional and a triumph. That moment was so enormous I debated in my mind, should I call dad or shake Patrick Green QCs hand,I chose the latter but eventually called dad with excitement 😂 #PostOfficeScandal #MrBatesVsThePostOffice

Mr Vipin Patel of Oxford was prosecuted by at least one Post Office investigator who knew of bugs - he was again targeted by Post Office in the months following. Dad has NOT received an interim payment despite having his conviction quashed. #PostOfficeScandal @RupaHuq

100% of known Post Office Horizon victims have received interim payments of up to £168k, 100% of those in the original Horizon Shortfall Scheme have received offers (>80% have accepted), 64% of all known victims have accepted full settlement, but working day and night to do more

If it wasn’t for mum the house of cards would’ve collapsed - mum ran the shop when villagers racially abused while my father was bedridden and unable to get up given accusations by Post Office and Horspath Parish Council. Mum is stronger than Paula Vennells. #PostOfficeScandal
