    "Hanya orang yang selalu pergi ke mekah je tahu" is a spiritually hollow flex. Abu Lahab lived in Makkah and still rotted in Hell. Proximity to the Kaʿbah means nothing without proximity to God. Islam rejects empty piety. Power is in taqwā, not travel.

    Zulfarhan's case judgment is 93 pages long with a lot of technical description on law and facts which many including myself will eventually forget. However, the concluding remarks by the judges in this case will stay with me for a while.

    Alexander the Great was 20 when he became king and was undefeated in many battles. Mehmed II was 21 when he conquered Constantinople King Baldwin IV was 16 when he defeated Saladin while suffering from leprosy. Men back then were seriously something else entirely.

    I think what pisses me off is the fact that it's just currency hijrah. They don't care about the locals or building anything useful or lasting for the ummah. It's just a lifestyle hack and vibes.
