    Sovereignty of Somaliland is non-negotiable. We gained our independence from Britain in 1960 & reclaimed it in 1991. Ensuring peace in the region is paramount, and proxy wars are unacceptable. We encourage Egypt to consider reuniting with Sudan or Syria, as they were once united.

    Egypt should focus on the conflicts in Sudan & Gaza, which it could have resolved if it had taken a more honest approach rather than interfering in Somaliland & Somalia. Any concerns regarding the Ethiopian Nile should be addressed through the UN and AU, not through proxy wars.

    As Taiwan, Djibouti, Turkey, the UK, and Ethiopia have all established representative offices in Somaliland, we welcome any country to have a representative/Diplomatic office in Somaliland with the aims of having a closer relationship in the area of trade, education and security.

    Since the rebirth of Somaliland in the past 31 years, Somaliland has secured it land, borders & territorial waters. It is the most peaceful country in the region & It stability contributes to the security of it neighbouring countries & the world. It is time to reward Somaliland.
