- Congratulations to Sam Walters on being named the Florida Diary Farmers Class 4A Player of the Year! Sam is the first player from The Villages to win a Florida Dairy Farmers Award. @SamWalters2023
- BEST IN THE STATE: VHS head coach Colt McDowell was named 2025 Florida Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year (Class 3A) on Monday, as voted upon statewide by coaches and media members. McDowell led the Buffalo to a 26-6 record and a state runner-up finish.
- Congratulations to Tre Mann! On Thursday he became the first player in VHS Boys Basketball history to score 1500 points in his career. As of tonight he has 1534 points. Also today is his birthday so our entire program wishes him a Happy Birthday!
- Buffalo WIN! We punched our ticket to the Class 4A State Championship Game on Saturday at 12:30pm being played at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland. We’ll play Mater Lakes from Hialeah.
