- In fond remembrance of Mr. Manohar Parrikar on his birth anniversary. I've been fortunate to have him as a mentor as well as a friend during his tenure as India's Defence Minister. One of the most decisive ones at that. (1/2)
- Having donned the uniform for nearly 40 years, he's one of the finest General Officers the Indian Army has had in service. Here's wishing Lt. General CP Mohanty the best on the occasion of his superannuation as well as for the road ahead. Jai Hind!
- It was an absolute pleasure hosting Sh. Nana Patekar ji today. I have always admired him for the respect he accords to both, our soldiers and our farmers. A true nationalist who puts in practice the slogan of 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan'. @nanagpatekar
- On this very day in the year 2012, General Bipin Rawat handed me the command of the 19th Infantry Division and we took each other's leave, though only for the time being. But earlier today, I had to bid my senior and friend another goodbye. A Final one this time.
- Deeply anguished by the news of our fallen heroes in J&K. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families of Col Manpreet Singh, SM (G), Maj Aashish Dhonchak, SM (G) and DSP Humayun Bhat. Also, a special recognition for the supreme sacrifice made by Kent of 21 Army Dog Unit.

- Saddened to hear about the untimely demise of Col. Viplav Tripathi along with his wife, son, and four of his soldiers. The dastardly attack that took them away is nothing but condemnable. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families as well as all personnel of 46 Assam Rifles.
