    I am changing jobs. Tonight there was a flatteringly large turnout of colleagues at a dinner to bid me farewell. Me: "I suppose it's time I told all of you what I do outside of the lab." Colleagues: "Oh, Sam, we've known about Uncle Kage since you started." Me: 😲

    "Broccoli tastes good" is an opinion. "Earth is flat" is not an opinion. It is an obstinate denial of evidence. The problem with politics today is that too many people cannot tell the difference between an opinion and an obstinate denial of evidence.
