- Over the weekend, Sgt. Michael Murphy and Officer Heather Roland were made aware of a turtle in the fountain. We are happy to say the turtle was safely removed and is now back in the pond. #turtlerescue

- UTPD is deeply saddened to announce that Chief of Police David Carter passed away early this morning, after a prolonged and valiant fight against cancer. He is survived by his wife and daughter. Our hearts are with the Carter family and all who knew him.
