- Replying to @USForcesKoreaDuring the ceremony, 10 sets of possible South Korean service member remains recovered by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) were returned to their homeland. In turn, DPAA received custody of 3 sets of possible U.S. remains recovered by the Republic of Korea MAKRI.
- Honoring the fallen. Strengthening the alliance. At Seoul Air Base, the Republic of Korea and the United States came together for a solemn Joint ROK-U.S. Repatriation Ceremony, reaffirming our shared commitment to account for those still missing from past conflicts.
