- DPS and LAPD both have increased patrols in the Figueroa Corridor, where a transient stabbed a student on Feb. 18. If you see any suspcious activity at or near UPC, call DPS at 213-740-4321 or LAPD at 911.
- Thank you DPS officers and partners at @LAPDHQ for your prompt response to an earlier threat in the Galen Center. LAPD has confirmed there are no credible threats at this time and the area is now clear for public access. For additional information, please reach out to LAPD.
- Due to a massive storage yard fire below the 10 freeway on Saturday (11/11/23) that caused damage to the supporting structure, the 10 freeway will be FULLY CLOSED until further notice between the East LA Connector and Alameda Street (see map in fourth (4th) slide).
