    Both need to declare to use their extra eligibility given they would be in sixth college year. 1. Freshman at old school 2017-2018 2. Sophomore at old school 2018-2019 3. Redshirt sophomore 2019-2020 4. Redshirt Junior 2020-2021 5. Redshirt Senior 2021-2022

    Terrence Shannon Jr is an Illini. Chart updated. Added note at bottom: TSJ can elect to play in 2023-2024 but it’s not guaranteed. Both he and the coaching staff would have to agree him to use COVID scholarship for his fifth year.
