- UCLA is canceling classes today. While the fire remains west of the 405 and poses no immediate threat to campus, we know members of our campus community live in evacuation areas or may be impacted by road closures. Employees should report to work if they can get to work safely. F

- LAFD is working on an active and growing brush fire on the west side of the 405 Freeway, north of Sunset Blvd. UCLA Emergency Management is working with LAFD and there is no immediate threat to campus from the fire. The fire is burning away from campus, and UCLA is outside the
