NEW DECEMBER RECORD: 193.7" With a 24 hour official #snow total of 38.9" at the lab, we have smashed the previous record of 179" of snow in December set in 1970! Snow rates are still heavy and we could even break the 200" mark today! #CAwx #CAwater

MASSIVE STATISTIC: Official #snowfall rates of 7.5" per hour at the lab between 4-5pm today. Snow is light and fluffy. Onsite researcher recorded the daily 4pm measurement and went back to check accumulation an hour later. #CAwx #CAwater #CAsnow #Snow #Weather #AtmosphericRiver

We have a deep 30.5" (77.5 cm) of new #snow that has fallen over the last 24 hours. Our season total is now 562" (14.29 m) and we're now within one foot of the 2016/2017 winter snowfall total. We're expecting another 2-4 feet through tomorrow and more this week! #CAwx #CAwater

We have received 21.3" (54 cm) of #snow in the last 24 hours and it's still coming down hard out there! The snowpack is DEEP with ~10 feet (3 meters) of snow already on the ground! We're expecting another 2-3 feet of snow by Monday morning, so much more to come! #CAwx #CAwater

A very light and fluffy 36" (91.5 cm) of new #snow over the last 24 hours! That brings our 2-day total to 52.2" (132.5 cm) and our 7-day total to 109.3" (277.5 cm)! We are now within 6.5 feet of our 2016/2017 winter season (47.77 feet). Plenty more on the way! #CAwx #CAwater

Happy first day of meteorological spring! We've had 35" of new #snow over the last day. That brings our 3-day total to 87.2" (221.5 cm) and our 7-day total to 141.9" (360.5 cm)! Our season total is now 531" and we're ~42" from the '16/'17 winter record. 1/2 #CAwx #CAwater
