    Thoughts from last night: lessons in leadership. Coach Saban is all class all the time in victory & defeat. He congratulated Kirby & his UGA team — he didn’t blame anyone for the loss. He used defeat as a learning opportunity for his players. He never gets 2 high or 2 low #Leader

    After we won the WCWS in 2012, our first stop with the trophy was Coach Saban’s office.He had just ended a staff mtg & all the coaches high-fived us on the way out.The last one out was Coach Saban.He talked w/us about the game & how late he stayed up to watch the final out.

    Replay in softball is necessary -- umpires & coaches believe that. There is replay in MLB, college baseball & Little League baseball. A safety base at first base would also help with calls at 1B and prevent unnecessary injuries.
