    We've been happily and silently developing our next game but suddenly have to speak out about the recent situation with @unity.
    Recently, Unity announced both instant and soon-to-be effective changes to their terms of service that severely harm game development business practices and financial models as studios have come to know them. As a studio, we have worked in Unity for over 10 years, building up knowledge and toolsets to create our colorful open worlds, stretching the limits of what the engine can do. Being knee-deep in the development of our next game, Unity’s ridiculous new Runtime Fee proposal came as a huge blow, rendering our prospects uncertain. Our patience with Unity has been stretched many times over the past years since the company went public, with this latest news rendering it impossible to trust the company’s leadership going forward. Unity has not informed or consulted any developer about this structural change in how we cooperate - and as is clear from their communication, there was never a clear or solid plan to begin with. We strongly urge Unity to come back to their senses.
