We mowed, ran sucker tractors to get any loose debris, rolled, and touched up paint where necessary. Tomorrow will be the 3rd game in 6 days. As always, my crew has crushed it this week. Thankful for the staff I have! Go Chiefs!

We weren’t planning on a resod this week, but Mother Nature had other plans. 10 inches of snow and all the snow in the stadium being hauled out on the sidelines changed things. My crew did an unbelievable job. They are the BEST! Everyone is tired but we are ready. Let’s Roll!

First 2 pics are from Dec 17th. Seeded, set soil temp at 80, put on grow tarps the 18th along with grow light, removed everything Dec 27th, mowed, and then painted today. The last 2 pics are from today. Shout out to my guys. They came in on days off to move the light.

It’s been a crazy year. We have gone from over 100* in August to -8 in December. We have had 11 games with the 12th being the 5th straight AFCC. Thankful for my crew and all the work that has gone into getting us through the season. They are the BEST! We have learned so much!

Shout out to all the Ops staff along with my crew for what the last 2 weeks has entailed. Crazy cold temps, snow removal out of the stadium, rain tarps off after 7 days down, and then grow tarps off on Wednesday. Have a little tip burn, but ready for the Divisional! Go Chiefs!

This one was fun! We have enjoyed the throwback to 1972! We brought Mr. George P. Toma in to help us knock out the design he was responsible for then. Kudos to my guys…they killed it. They are extremely talented and intelligent. They make me look good!

My guys have worked their tails off the last 4 weeks to get to this point. We had 2 preseason games and a KU practice on the stadium field over an 8 day span. The last 11 days have been spent getting ready for tomorrow night. They make me look good.

A lot of growth in the last week. Heat has been adjusted back and forth from 70-75, grow tarps for 7 straight days along with grow lights moved around. My staff is amazing. They do an awesome job! We will try to keep growing all the way thru Thursday. Game #11 coming up!

Took rain/snow tarps off yesterday and took heat from 70-90 from yesterday AM to today. Rolling 62* in the top inch under the grow blankets. Grass is a little yellowed from no sun for 7 days, but we have a beautiful sunny day today to head the right direction! Been a crazy week.

I’ve seen at least 160 games from the field at Arrowhead. I have heard that place loud a bunch of times, but honestly think last night broke the 142.2 It was without question the loudest I have ever heard it.

She’s ready for the 6th game of the year. This will be the 5th NFL game and we have already had one college game. My crew has worked hard to keep it in good shape with all the traffic. I’m thankful for their commitment in keeping us in good shape. Great weather has helped too!

Thanks to @Eric_NeffKC for the pics of this week’s craziness. Stripped field Mon/Tues, laser graded Tues/Wed, layed grass Wed/Thurs, rolled and painted a little on Friday and finished painting today. Shoutout to @BushTurf for all the work. Can’t thank my staff enough. The BEST!

Last thing to do is get moisture dialed in overnight and we are ready roll! Kudos to my crew! Couldn’t ask for a better group!

Ready to roll for the Home Opener. Sprayed Pervade at 2 oz/1,000 with the rain in the forecast. The crew busted their tails to get it ready to Run it Back!
