- At this time, I am not requesting the national guard or any military presence in the @cityoftucson. This is excessive, and sends the wrong message to our community. What we need is systemic reform and meaningful policy change, not militarization.
- I have directed our City Attorney to work on amending our local emergency proclamation to require wearing masks in public. Public health experts agree - the time to #MaskUpTucson is NOW.
- I’m excited to hit the ground running to do everything I can to help @JoeBiden win Arizona and make Trump a one term President!

- In the absence of statewide action by @DougDucey, I have decided to proceed with a new set of actions at the local level. Although these are painful decisions, I have a moral obligation to do what is in the best interest of Tucsonans and protect public health.
- BREAKING: Governor Ducey will issue a stay-at-home order, which goes into effect 5pm Tuesday. There will be NO changes to the list of essential services. I urge Gov @DougDucey to narrow his list to reflect those services that are truly essential to Arizonans well-being.
