Who else woke up to snow this morning?! We are loving how college looks right now, even if our feet are a bit colder and wetter than usual...

We are very sad to announce the death of one of our college tortoises, Plum, who died in early June at more than 100 years old. Plum was a much-loved member of the community and often triumphed over our other female tortoise, Toby in races to reach the lettuce first. ❤️😢🐢

Just five minutes either side of 5pm last night and what a difference to the light in college!

The chapel and dining hall windows of Trinity college ten minutes after the first photo: the sky is darker and the lights coming from the windows are warmer and brighter.

It was such a chilly night in college last night that our night porter had a special visitor begging for food and warmth... 😲🦊🦊 we aren't sure whether it was our resident vixen Frederika or a different local fox, but we hope they eventually found somewhere warm to nestle in!

Good morning! We had a *very* busy day yesterday with a very special visitor - the Prince of Wales @ClarenceHouse opened our Levine Building and was given an incredibly warm welcome by everyone in college!

We still have some residual evidence of Tuesday's winter wonderland... autumn colours in the trees and wintry mix on the ground for the win!
Colourful autumn leaves on the trees in Trinity's front quad, with leftover icy snow on the grass.

There's snow place like college and @UniofOxford in winter, so for a little more snowy #MondayMotivation we have a gorgeous video of another snowy day in Oxford courtesy one of our former researchers @denoising Pranav Singh. We think its snow darn great it needs sharing!

The first daffodils are out! Cold snap notwithstanding the first narcissus blooms are a welcome sight...
