    Today we gifted a book to all our new Y7 students, challenged them to read it over the summer and post us a review on a pre-stamped postcard. We’ve also made an audiobook version with our own staff reading every chapter so that students can experience the book read out loud ⭐️ 📚

    We are reflecting on how far we’ve come on our literacy journey since Easter 2021. We started on a burning platform 🔥 23.9% of our cohort were functionally illiterate (nationally, 17% adults are FI)* This week, that figure stands at just 5.8% 🧵 ⬇️ 1/ *NLT
