    There's a difference between diversifying your DND campaign by adding trans, queer, fat, and disabled NPCs and NPCs of color — and trying to tell stories you don't have the range or lived experience to tell. Good GMs diversify without appropriating, fetishizing, or tokenizing.

    My DM laid out the 44 rules of D&D: 1. You MUST be gay, no exceptions. 2. If you like combat you are immediately sent to hell. 3. Tiefling, aasimar, genasi, and changelings ONLY (see rule #1). 4. Kiss the BBEG or die trying. 5. We are NOT playing D&D, go get your favorite indie.
