- Reservoir Pond Dam job on schedule to have Pleasant St opened later today, Dec. 7. Remaining work for today include line painting, guardrail installation, sign removal. Upon removal of signs at end of work day road will be opened to thru traffic. Clean up work thru end of Dec.

- Reservoir Pond Dam Update- This is an update to the previous notification on the re-opening of Pleasant Street to through traffic. Based on lost time due to weather, the new re-opening goal date is December 7th. Updates to follow if necessary.
- The Canton High School Boys Basketball team played this past season dedicated to Xavier Machuga, a Canton High student who is recovering from a brain aneurysm. The following link is a documentary, filmed by Pat LaBelle, of the incredible season.
- Town of Canton has received Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Assoc for its FY '22 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the 17th year which is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting/financial reporting
- Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and in an abundance of caution, Town offices will be closed to the public starting on Tuesday, March 17th until further notice.
- Due to reports of mosquito emergence from the Neponset River, Norfolk County Mosquito Control will be spraying tonight in neighborhoods bordering the river such as Green St., Greenlodge St. and University Road.
- Traffic advisory Overnight paving will be conducted on Washington Street, from the Village Shops at 95 Washington Street to Stanetsky Memorial Chapel in the Canton Center area this Sunday and Monday night from 8 pm to 5 am. Please seek alternate routes during those times.
- Update: Due to the overwhelming response for volunteers to serve on the Town of Canton Finance Committee, the moderator will no longer be taking applications. The committee shorlty will be full with nine members. Thank you to all who submitted applications!
