- If today me would have showed up in a time machine in 1999 and told 1999 me, "23 years from now, you'll see Corey Koskie hit a HR off Mike Kingery's kid in a town called 'Dundas to give his own kid a 2-1 lead." I'd have called the cops on myself. 🤯
- The MLB gimmick thing is neat. If it gets you excited about rural baseball scenery, turn off your TV this weekend and find the field of dreams right in your back yard. We're here to advise.
- A bunch of old guys happened to show to at the park and a game broke out. Don't tell the Gov.
- After winning yesterday, my guy rode an unsaddled white stallion back to Buckman, put a new transmission into his '68 Mustang, & won a barfight against six guys, then got up before dawn to split 5 cords of wood & eat 37 pancakes. Still made it back to coach 3rd.
- Folks: covid is gonna tank the season if we don't start taking it seriously. Spread out a bit, & exercise the smallest amt of caution. Folks wanting it to not be real, while numbers jump & teams have to suspend. I want to see a championship this fall. Be smart. Please. ⚾🍻
- They laughed at the end of the November game when we said, "See you at the December game," but we weren't joking. Not ruling out January. #thestateofbaseball
- This is how amazing amateur baseball is in MN: this is a field of ballparks I just threw together that didn't make the cut for the ballpark bracket everybody's excited about. Enough for a full 64-team (MN)IT tournament. And I'm sure there are still snubs! #thestateofbaseball

- Lions Field in Waconia wasn't much of anything a few years ago, now a gem. A testament to what's possible when folks in a community decide they're gonna have nice things, formulate a plan, & come together to make it happen. Congrats @WaconiaBaseball @WaconiaLakers @wch2021
- Okay... I've promised this before, but after fielding about 300 questions on this topic over the weekend, I'm announcing that there will definitely be an updated reprint of our "State of Baseball" t-shirts over the winter. Be on the lookout.
- Replying to @SamHusebyIt's mostly just an indicator of how unreliable "strength of schedule" is before the season starts.
