- Just saw a tweet saying “Both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated can catch Covid.” A doctor responded: “Both Serena Williams and I can play tennis."
- Nation waits breathlessly to see if candidate who leads by four million votes will win.
- Joe Rogan booked a show in Vancouver and it sold out but he can’t get into Canada because he’s unvaccinated. Oh Canada!
- The silence of the Blue Lives Matter folks on the Tyre Nichols murder is deafening.
- Is the dumbest person in America the President of the United States?
- Kanye submitted 3,128 signatures to the state of Illinois. 1,928 were ruled invalid. He’s off the ballot because most of his signatures were fake. The right gets so upset about potential electoral fraud but says nothing about actual voter registration fraud from Kanye. Cute.
- The right’s fantasy of Trump as a real tough guy, who’s athletic, physical, and as badass as any movie tough guy is hysterical. In reality he’s an obese senior citizen who’s never been very athletic and wimped his way out of military service. But please keep dreaming.
- I don’t ever recall Republicans saying we shouldn’t investigate Hillary again because we need healing. It’s only when Republicans screw up do they suddenly say we can’t have consequences, we need healing.
- Trump voters are unable to explain why they like Trump (without saying untrue things) because it’s a cult. They like him personally. They like how he makes people outside the cult mad. These are not governing principles.
- My child’s school just changed their mask policy—now students, teachers, and staff must wear N95, KN95, or KF94 masks. Cloth masks are no longer acceptable.
- You’re not “doing your own research” unless you’re a scientist and you set up a lab and hold trials. If you don’t do that you’re Googling in hopes of finding the answer you want.
- Someone tweeted "Notice how people who told Kaepernick an Lebron to stick to sports aren't telling Kanye to stick to music," and I felt that in my soul.
