High beam is not needed in city where we travel below 60 kmph. Low beam typically reaches about 50 meters which is sufficient distance at city speeds. High beam is only needed at high speeds on dark highways. Even then, Dip your lights when you see oncoming traffic so you don't

On average, I am walking 3 to 5 km a day in Chicago. Not on a treadmill, but just on the streets- commuting to & fro! Having good pavements and walkability can contribute so much to personal health, which we miss dearly in India.

My cook Neeraja, walks 25 minutes each way to work. She works another 2 homes too. Totally she spends almost 1.5 to 2 hours commuting daily by walk. Inspired by @sselvan I encouraged her to cycle. Her initial response was that everybody in her neighbourhood will laugh and tease

Traveled from Bellandur to Bengaluru airport just now. It took 1 hour 45 minutes! Insane. Plus the roads are all dug up and pot hole ridden. Sorry to say but I think Bangalore has the worst roads of India. This is not sustainable. It will create a host of health problems for

I am a fan of Nitin Gadkari, but I cannot pay any more toll!! I paid 720 Each way from Hyderabad to Chennai. Which was 30% of my diesel cost! Ridiculous. Please slow down building highways and focus on making the existing ones safer! Thanks

Dear @nitin_gadkari ji, I got a simple suggestion to deal with the national nuisance of people using high beam in cities. How about manufacturers put an electronic control connected to the speedometer, so high beam should not switch on below 50 km/hr- even if lever is engaged.

No driver Education, nobody understands hi-beam vs low beam. Nobody understands meaning of fog lights, hazard lights. Just a bunch of idiots given a driving license to drive around 💁🏽‍♂️

This is the problem with India, when an officer does a great job, some random politician will pull him down and relocate him. Performance is punished in India that's the reason the country struggles to move forward.
