    Yall aren’t talking about this enough. A small Nigerian group of creators with a few kickstarters and some webcomics under their belt somehow secured a PARTNERSHIP with the largest entertainment company in the world!? THATS more newsworthy than anything else in the announcement

    Akira Toriyama got into manga hoping to make a quick buck in a competition. But when his first published story was voted the worst in a reader survey, he took that personally, and said he wouldn't stop until he wrote a hit. Over 10 stories later we got Dragon Ball. NEVER QUIT

    I hate when people say characters of color are hard to relate to. Statistically there are more children’s books about cars and animals than about kids of color. If you can relate to Lightning McQueen you BETTER learn to relate to me or KA-CHOW your way into therapy.

    A beloved mangaka died. And in the wake of his passing. His "fans" declared that they knew his work better than him, and decided to create the adaptation fans "deserve." That don't sound a lil disrespectful to ya'll?
