- Very sad news. Just heard from two sources that former #Packers GM Ted Thompson died last night. He had just turned 68 on Jan. 17.
- #Packers have agreed to a one-year deal with TE Robert Tonyan. Includes a voidable year.
- #Packers WR Davante Adams said if you go out and get a star it works out, but "shout out to our personnel department for finding Rasul (Douglas)."
- According to NFL source, #Packers are offering Odell Beckham Jr., the veteran minimum. Of course, that could go up, but they can’t pay him a ton when they still haven’t extended Davante Adams.
- Maurice Drayton will not return as #Packers special teams coordinator, a source said. Story to come shortly.
- Welcome to Brett Favre II.
- #Packers RB A.J. Dillon said he moved here three days after being drafted in the middle of the pandemic. He said he wound up meeting people through the process of being in Green Bay over time, met his fiance here and has come to feel a part of the community.
- It should remembered that Ted Thompson played a huge role in building the current #Packers team. Rodgers, Adams, Jones, Clark, Williams, Bakhtiari, Linsley, Crosby, King, Lowry. It's a shame he didn't get to see this season through but those who know him know what he did for GB.
- In sum, the #Packers will have Randall Cobb, Jaire Alexander, Billy Turner, Za'Darius Smith, David Bakhtiari and Josh Myers on the practice field a week and a half before their divisional playoff game. Next week's practice in pads should tell us a lot more where these guys stand.
- Cobb said he had tears in his eyes when he left Houston knowing he was going back Green Bay, where he started. He said he and his wife both broke down because he wanted to come back so much. "We love this place," Cobb said.
- #Packers S Evan Williams and LB Quay Walker appear to be back.
