In the interest of fairness, they also haven't lost since visiting the National Zoo. Which many players chose to do instead.

Having trouble finding the words to describe what the loss of Jerry means to me, and to all of us who love the Red Sox. He was insightful, funny, and courageous. It was an honor to call him my friend. We will miss him terribly. #RIPJerryRemy

I've worked with Wake for the past 12 years, and had the honor of covering him for 17 seasons before that. I've never met anyone who loved the Red Sox more, or who better understood how to use the power of sports to help those in need. Absolutely gutted by his loss.

D’backs manager Torey Lovullo took BP at Fenway to set his team’s fantasy football draft order. Each ball was numbered & the distance he hit each determined position. He hit the wall on Merrill Kelley’s baseball (he goes 1st) and popped up on Joc Pederson’s (he’s last)

"Thank you guys for being here all year. We'll go get them in 2020." -Mookie Betts to the crowd at Fenway after scoring the walk-off run to win the game.

Let me make myself clear: I think the game should be on NESN. I think MLB is doing a massive disservice to fans by having a game like this behind a paywall. At the least they shouldn't allow games in September to be streaming only. I assure you NESN is not happy to lose the game.

The Red Sox smoked the Jays on 4/20. Game 2 tomorrow night.

This is respect. 40 NESN co-workers gathered for a photo with Eck before his final game.

He’s in. David Ortiz is a first-ballot Hall of Fame.
