    I’ve done a great deal of reflection recently over the past 47 years I’ve be been in the horse business, 35 of which are as a trainer. My wife Colleen, and my daughters, Ashley and Hayley, made countless sacrifices and I will be forever grateful to them.

    Serengeti Empress came out of yesterday’s 3rd place finish in the @BreedersCup Distaff in great shape. We’re very proud of her effort! It took 2 very talented older mares to pass her in the last 1/8 mile. She will get some well-deserved rest & sunshine, & compete in Spring 2020.

    Happy to report that Promise Of Hope is completely sound at the barn. Jose thought he felt something behind when she switched to her inside lead and wanted to be cautious. I am grateful he took care of my horse.

    Having just found out that @SeanPayton tested positive for the Coronavirus & being with him Saturday afternoon at Oaklawn, I am self quarantining immediately and will get tested at the earliest possible time. I feel great and have had no symptoms. Wishing Coach a fast recovery.

    It is with deep sadness that our stable confirms that Dazzle d’Oro sustained a catastrophic injury this morning during training. He received immediate attention and was sent to Rood & Riddle Equine hospital a mile away from the race track, but due to the severity of the injury

    Just want to reach out to everyone concerning The Reds who was pulled up at the 16th pole in the third race today in Churchill Downs. We have taken x-rays and there are no fractures. He is comfortable in his stall.
