The cops involved were Blake Shimanek and Ankit Tomer, of Keller @cityofkellertx, Texas. The police chief apologized, dropped charges, the city (using taxpayers' $$) paid $200K to the pepper-sprayed father in 2021 (who these two did NOT help), & apparently forced out both cops.

Until incentives are changed (such as by making cops pay for lawsuit judgments/settlements) cops will always this kind of behavior. CITIZENS need to start putting together such lists, so bad cops can’t just go apply elsewhere.

There is this database, btw. Apparently neither of these guys was decertified, so they're likely working somewhere else nearby.

Obviously the Dems cheated like crazy in 2020 but just forgot to do so this time.

No surprise. The extend of their quarantine made it obvious they were scared shitless. We had plenty of warning. Our delays CANNOT be blamed on China.

My little search didn't reveal where they are now. CITIZENS need to start putting together such lists, so bad cops can’t just go apply elsewhere.

Brian, when right-whiners say, "America is a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, NOT a democracy," what actually they mean is, "WE, the rural and suburban WHITE MINORITY, get to dictate how America is run, NOT some damned majority of citizens based in big cities."

And we open-air tested for years, because officials didn't care about either troops or Native Americans and Mormons in the fallout areas. See Rebecca Solnit's "Landscape Wars"

Amanda, what you're missing is that those profiting from the ongoing use of fossil fuel resources are largely different organizations from the more generalized people/communities who bear the costs. FF #Corporations LIKE their current risk-socializing business models. #Climate

Barbara, I think you're probably capable of responding to the points I actually made. Here it is again: "We had plenty of warning. Our delays CANNOT be blamed on China."

The possibility of Putin invading Ukraine is not the US on the cusp or a war, nor would such an invasion necessarily result in a "large European war," as opposed to a conflict limited to the Ukraine.
