- Replying to @Stowydad and @marceeliasI'll be filing a lawsuit today to try to overturn the results of the 2018 NFC Championship game. I think it's got at least a good of a chance of success as this GOP lawsuit to overturn the will of Minnesota voters.

- Replying to @DaveOrrickThat's @sppdmn practicing deescalation tactics. Imagine if you came on this scene as a member of SPPD and saw a destroyed cruiser and your reaction was to let protesters take pictures, introduce yourself, and empathize. We do need police, and we need them to act like this.
- I don’t know who is in charge of public relations for the City of Minneapolis, but here’s a piece of free advice. Stop putting your people on national cable tv while the backdrop is our city actively burning.

- I was pretty turned off by Jim Schultz’s approach to the debate. But what’s really clear to me is that Schultz wants to bring his religion into the law. I am not a “child of God,“ I’m a child of my parents. I don’t want God anywhere near the court room.
- Though sad, it shouldn’t surprise me that these extremists, when caught not following the rules, are blaming the people who caught them rather than taking accountability for their own misdeeds.
