- It had been awhile since I was last in Neyland Stadium to call a game, but this remains one of the best traditions in CFB! Loved my return to Rocky Top!
00:00 - So I do not follow the recruiting game all that closely, and think a lot of the stuff I see is way over the top...but the way @LincolnRiley and the Sooners are announcing commits with the vinyls and turntable is pretty freaking cool!💽
- I absolutely LOVE college athletics! 5 weeks ago, nobody would have projected TCU in the CWS. Now, they are one of the hottest teams in baseball and headed to Omaha. Truly amazing and such a blessing to enjoy and experience with my son! Go Frogs! @TCU_Baseball
- And there is still much more to say of His unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in My sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God. (Romans 5:9 TPT)
- #1 in my book. Not even close.
- In case anyone is interested, my Top 6 looks like this: 1. Alabama 2. ND 3. Clemson 4. Texas A&M 5. Cincinnati 6. Ohio State
- I was saddened to hear of passing of my friend and first broadcast partner I had at ESPN. He was a wonderful person, and I know he he loved these 5 things: 1. His wife Janet 2. Calling college FB, BB and the CWS 3. The WVU Mountaineers 4. Playing Black Jack 5. Taste of the TownLongtime ESPN broadcaster Mike Patrick, dead at 80 ow.ly/1tz11066FAl
- Congratulations to @McSorley_IX on becoming the winningest QB in Penn State history. Happy to see you break the record. It has been a blast watching you play! #winner #WeAre
- I have really enjoyed watching Adrian Martinez on film this week. He is a dynamic playmaker. It may not always be clean or perfect, but dude makes as many off-script plays you can’t coach as anyone in CFB! @HuskerFBNation
- My final take: Rose Bowl was big winner because PSU was better than Ohio State and USC was better than Washington. Head to head doesn't lie.
- I say this every season so take it for what it’s worth: I think preseason polls in CFB are a joke and don’t believe there should be any polls at all until the first week of October. After a month of games, injuries, suspensions, etc. true contenders & pretenders come into focus.
- I’ll never forget this play, the announcer’s call, or the legendary man behind the voice. Keith Jackson was truly one of a kind!#2 Penn State defeated #1 Georgia 27-23 to win the 1982 National Championship. Here was the game-winning TD thrown by Todd Blackledge. Look familiar? #ChampionshipMoments
00:00 - This is so unbelievably good! This is a man who truly understands that his value, purpose, and destiny come from something (Someone) bigger than football. @NickFoles is defined by who God says he is and no one else. Such a powerfully refreshing perspective!“I don’t believe in the prosperity Gospel. I believe if you read the word of God and you understand it, there’s trials along the way but they equip your heart to be who you are.” Watch @NickFoles preach the Gospel at his press conference today.
