70 years ago my father was slated to graduate high school. After his father fell ill, and as the oldest of 7 he dropped out to provide for his family. I recently reached out and told dad’s story to Clyde ISD. Tonight at 88 he’s more proud than ever. #tearsflowed

The next time you hear a State level elected official telling you how bad our public schools are…just send them our way.

The end of football season for our district means the end of fall sports. I’m so thankful for State and local leaders who stood up and said playing the game is the right thing to do. Not only for our kids, but for our communities. This was the RIGHT call! #GodBlessTexas

Dropped my youngest off at school. He takes three steps and a friend calls his name. You could see him light up. Haven’t seen a smile like that since March. Let’s do this.

Today I'm fully aware that while I'm home with my family , there is a police officer, fireman, first responder, nurse, doctor, and many others doing their jobs right now like any other day. To them I say THANK YOU and Merry Christmas.

Huge thanks to every leader who had the guts to say allowing our kids to compete was the RIGHT thing. God bless Texas! #UILState @UIL_AD

This is why four teams get in the playoffs. 4 seed Randall just drove to Ft. Worth and knocked off 1 seed Justin Northwest. @lancelahnert @gingwilson

I saw more regional track records broken today than I can ever remember at a meet. A majority of these kids missed a full year with covid or never have competed at the varsity level. Kudos to the athletes, coaches and parents. Wow!

Just tougher up here in the Panhandle.

Parents, no matter what happens at the high school football game you attend tonight, just tell your son or daughter-“Proud of you, I love you.” That’s much more important than the score. @THSCAcoaches #txhsfb

To the “experts” that say four teams shouldn’t be in the playoffs...this four seed just keeps winning.
