It’s official!: “Electric Op” opens to the public on 9/27 at the @BuffaloAKG! So lucky/honored that my swan song as a curator features literal scores of amazing artists: buffaloakg.org/art/exhibition… (Yes there will be a catalog—and some fun merch too ;)

This got RTed onto my feed, which was a lovely reminder of the time you told me I could be the love of your life, except I was “too fat for you” (size 8). Refused to hold my hand in public but shared a bed with me anyway. Glad I never answered your calls again. Hope you’re well!

We just lost one of the greatest artists of our lifetimes. This one hurts more than most. RIP to a legend. #RichardSerra
A photo of a printed text that reads: Technology is a form of tool making (body exten-sions). Technology is not art-not invention. It is a simultaneous hope and hoax. It does not concern itself with the undefined, the inexplicable: it deals with the affirmation of its own making. Technology is what we do to the Black Panthers and the Vietnamese under the guise of advancement in a materialistic theology.

I'm enraged: A company called @globalartmuseum has begun minting NFTs of works in the @rijksmuseum collection. They claim "Any revenue derived from sales or rental will be shared with the museum" to help them during the COVID. How? Does the museum know about this??

Ahem: Digital art was *already* “canonized at MoMA”—fifty-five years ago, when they acquired Charles Csuri’s “Hummingbird” film in 1968, after showing it as part of their survey “The Machine as Seen at the End of the Mechanical Age”
Today is a monumental day in art history Congrats Pablo, Desiree, Ryan, @1OF1_art, and of course Refik on this remarkable donation Digital art is now forever canonized in the MoMA ⚡️

I went to high school with Eduardo (graduating at the top of our class together), and I’m happy to say I’ve had a low opinion of him since at least 1996. I steered so clear of him once we got to college, but he lived up to my expectations...

Funny thing is—this was also in 2004, when you were in London teaching at that school! What a relief you weren’t a fascist though 🙌

Some personal news. So much gratitude for all the artists and colleagues who have taught me, mentored me, and trusted in me. So excited for all the projects to come 💫

Losing my ever-loving mind in the “Multiple Realities” show at the Walker, which ends with what the curator has taken to calling “the Tina room” 😜 Here’s a giant computer printout from 1973 called “Combinatory System” by criminally underknown Romanian artist Florin Maxa
