    I don’t know what happened between Coach Howard and Coach Turgeon. What I do know is this. If I am a 5-Star Blue Chip recruit watching the game at home, I am thinking, I want to play for a guy that fights for his players like Juwan Howard at Michigan!

    Juwan Howard is the National Coach of the Year right now. Mark Few at Gonzaga & Scott Drew at Baylor are undefeated and were preseason #1 & #2 in CBB . They’ve done what was expected. Michigan was ranked #6 preseason in the Big Ten. They have far exceeded every expectation.

    Michigan’s 43-6 run against top 10 Wisconsin was the most dominant stretch of basketball all year - NBA or College! 16 baskets - 7 layups, 4 dunks & 4 uncontested 3’s, only 1 midrange J. Seven scored, near perfection on defense. I am in awe of what I watched last night!!!

    I attended the @umichbball_ practice on Saturday. They’re Loaded! Hunter Dickinson - has sculpted his body. Devante’ Jones - a major upgrade at PG Caleb Houstan - doesn’t miss much. Looks like the top roster in the Big 10. Who is better?

    As I reflect on the Michigan BB season, they deserve just as much credit off the court. Why? 8 months living in isolation No family, friends, or social life 23 days in quarantine Zero positive Covid tests Juwan taught this team about accountability. Leaders & Best applies!

    Juwan Howard has only been on the job at Michigan for 206 days. For him to land 2 top 50 players in this short time is beyond remarkable. Isaiah Todd & Hunter Dickinson have been recruited by the competition for years. The future is indeed bright for M Hoops!!!

    Great coaches make in-game adjustments. 2:43 to go. Michigan by 8 & LSU is desperate & selling-out with their press Smith trapped. Timeout. Juwan sees the pressure & diagrams a play. M passes to Dickinson, full-court pass to Wagner for the dunk. Game over. You saw it too!

    Michigan Basketball played like a champion today! Keep it up Isaiah Livers and you will be All-Big10 and a first round NBA draft pick. Over 20 points the last three games. Double figures 9 of 10 games in conference. The best player on the best team.

    Three Observations after Michigan Blows out Florida State. 1. Juwan’s adjustments out of breaks were brilliant. 2. Smith/Brooks put on a Press Break Clinic. 3. Michigan can beat Gonzaga - again this year!

    Wow! Let me say it again. Wow! Hunter Dickinson with 27 & 11 belongs on the list of best Michigan big men ever with Phil Hubbard, Roy Tarpley, Chris Webber & Juwan Howard. And it can’t be argued. Go Blue! Let me say it again. Go Blue!

    Here’s an early look at Michigan’s front court next year. It will end up being the best in the B1G. 7’1” Hunter Dickinson 6’11” Colin Castleton 6’10” Isaiah Todd 6’9” Brandon Johns 6’9” Franz Wagner Great length, athleticism, skill, depth & rim protection.

    Wow Elated!!! Michigan played like a #1 seed. Brown & Brooks with 41. Franz was passive for 30 minutes and then dominated. 10 3’s, won the rebound game, low turnovers & the D held LSU to 36 in the second half. Go Blue!!!

    Michigan needs Caleb Houstan to make shots to beat Villanova. He has missed 35 of his last 47. Here is some free advice. Forget about NBA scouts. Start with free throws, a layup, or good D to build confidence. Get your legs into your shot. Wait for a wide open 1st shot.
