- Today I tabled my first Private Members Bill - Prohibition of the Export of Horses by Air for Slaughter Act. Canadians have expressed concern over the export of live horses for slaughter. Other countries have banned this practice & I believe it is time for Canada to do the same!

- Anti-LGBTQ group, Parents as First Educators (PAFE), sent an e-mail to voters in Kitchener-Conestoga yesterday. PAFE is angry that as your Member of Parliament I voted to ban Conversion Therapy. They have endorsed my Conservative opponent.
- Today, I stood in the House to announce that next fall, I will introduce a bill banning the export of live horses for slaughter. I invite my colleagues from all parties to work towards its adoption. We promised it, we'll do it!
