The Anchors are saddened to hear of the passing of Fred "Freddy" Matheson on Sunday. There was no man that loved Thorold baseball at all levels more than Fred. Fred could be found at McMillan park sitting behind home plate whenever a game was on. You will be missed Fred. RIP
