- I took my youngest — in sudden, acute pain — to A&E last night. He needed a small but urgent surgical procedure under general anaesthetic. Terrifying for him, and, yes, terrifying for a parent. All’s well now, but my goodness #thankyouNHS!

- I went to the ‘other’ Eerie-on-Sea today: Cromer. The hotel with the tower overlooking the pier is the inspiration for the Grand Nautilus Hotel.
- It’s my birthday and I’m in Norfolk, so my brother made me a ‘Thetford Forest Gateau’😂😋
- I’m just about to deal with the last few queries in the text of #Shadowghast, and Herbie and Vi’s next adventure will be almost ready.
