I don't think people understand what Clemson has done here. Sanctioning the celebration of political violence shuts down the possibility of free speech on campus. It's the definition of a chilling effect on free speech. Conservative students and faculty are not safe at Clemson.
My sources tell me that the Clemson board was split on firing the leftist professors who celebrated Charlie's death. Also, the President's Office is not being forthcoming about whether @ClemsonPrez stands behind the statement issued by the University today. We need answers NOW.
Disgusting behavior from a professor at @ClemsonUniv celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk. You deleted it @MelvinEarlMusic, but the internet remembers. This is a public university that receives a great deal of SC taxpayer funding. Credit to @ClemsonCRs.
The president of Florida Atlantic took immediate action to remove a tenured faculty member. BRAVO. It’s been 48 hours and we’re STILL waiting to hear from @clemsonprez about taking action on two untenured faculty members.
If you have information about liberal abuse at Clemson, whether in classrooms, syllabi, or unfair treatment of students or student groups, my DMs are open and I’ll protect your identity if you wish.
Actually, that goes for any college campus in South Carolina.
Presbyterian College is a supposedly Christian School. Their Director of Women’s studies is a far-left radical blaming Charlie Kirk for his own coldblooded murder. And they are choosing to take absolutely no action.
Good Morning @gcschools
One of your teachers appears to be the openly celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Is this who you entrust the safety and well being of your children to?

Let's be very clear: the statement that Clemson put out, likely approved by the @clemsonprez, indicates complicity with the celebration of coldblooded murder and political violence. By choosing to do nothing, they're sanctioning Leftist violence.
