00:00 - All fighting games have 'forced 50/50s' and always have. High/low, left/right and strike/throw has consistently been a thing for 3 decadesAnd this is how modern fighting games become what they are forced 50/50s.
- Ultimately this demand for homogenised fighting games is unhealthy, be it dash macros, easy inputs, offence driven gameplay or whatever We don't want to end up in a situation where instead of hating a title, we have people hating the entire genre because they're all the same
- Overhaulling characters 4 years after release probably shouldn't be a thing guys.
- I think if you're at the point where you're complaining about mixups and zoning, you just might not like fighting games.

- I'm pretty distant from the big 3 fighting games nowersdays, but from the outside it really looks like everyone is fucking miserable and it's getting harder to distinguish if people are genuinely upset or just chatting shit like normal.

- The biggest disconnect i have from modern gaming culture, is the weird 'anti-skill' disource that goes on. People will post someone good at a title (particlarly) FPS, then declare that these people are ruining the game. Like isn't half the joy of competitive gaming emproving?

- I'd like to propose a new archtype - Kazuya. A character whos executional barriers have created leagues of lower-mid level players who don't improve because they are distracted by dropped combos.
