I am so honored that I was considered, let alone given, a GA Melee lifetime achievement award. I really almost cried. GA Melee means so much to me. Really my second family. So happy to be a part of it. Here’s to another lifetime of Melee in Georgia with the family ☺️

Ok also last night at the local I played someone who told me it was their first tournament and I was just really happy to know we still get new faces until I told them I went to my first local in 2004 and they had the AUDACITY to say “I was born in 2004!”

So this past thanksgiving my 19 year old cousin brought her boyfriend over for the holiday. During dinner all of us are chatting, find out he’s into fighting games. I finally mention my recent travels for Melee. “Oh yeah I like Melee! You ever see that like 5 hour documentary?”

Achieved 12/31/2022, this was my last record of the year. It's Sheik/Zelda's PAL record, IE best global score done on the PAL version. tbh this is a bit of a hacked together strat, I think 228 or 229% is probably possible despite PAL's huge backwall nerf. 3530.6/1076.1 [PALR]
