The absolute most impressive part of PerfectGame business model is that by the time you realize you’ve been robbed and wasted thousands upon thousands of dollars, your kids baseball career is just about over.

- According to the NCAA, the average age of a college baseball player is 21.9, up from 20.1 in 2022. The 2025 class is on its way to becoming the most underrepresented group in the history of college baseball, at least in terms of ratio of HS to available college roster spots.
- ‘If you’re good enough they’ll find you.’ Crock of shit I’m sorry I’ve stood at the gates of 18-19-20 years olds for 15 years We are about to enter a period of baseball where there are 2025-26-27 kids who COULD play Major League Baseball that will not play college baseball
- Coached players who: Are Big Leaguers Every level of pro ball Every level of college ball There are no 8am games or 10am games or 3-4 games in one day for any competitive level that continues or enhances your playing career Current travel ball system is for parents not kids
- Here is the full Ryan Gusto story, if you love baseball and you love dream chasing, you're going to want to read this until the end, here it is: In the Winter of 2016, Ryan signed up for one of my FloridaProspect events when I was still the youngest head coach in the state of
- When I took over as HC I created a sign system that no one else had or has ever had since. It was never compromised because it had simple audibles and corrections. Every sign was given clear as day right in front of everyone to see, I never hid it. Not once. Here is our system:
- In less than 36 months, HS Summer baseball for the sake of getting in front of coaches will be completely obsolete for ALL grad classes. College baseball programs of significance will not spend any time or resources recruiting the Summer circuit. Here is why: First 3 absolutes
- I will finally publicly admit, April 19th of 2016, I did in fact paint the batters boxes two feet forward at our home field to deal with Andrew George's changeup. We scored 3 in the first before opposing HC noticed. Won game & next day the conference championship. I do apologize.
- What does a Dick’s Sporting Goods store and a PerfectGame tournament have in common? Both have a ton of overpriced PG merch and no college scouts in sight!
- 2009-2022 as a college baseball coach I watched in person approx 50K plate appearances during Spring action & conservatively another 30K in Fall ball & recruiting. Within that group was players drafted in every rd of MLB draft #1 indicator of success for hitters: being on time
- I got a laundry list of guys who got cut/told they weren't good enough at other schools before they came to play for me & got drafted/helped me win a championship. A ton of college baseball players are about to be told there is no space for them. Find a new spot and keep chasing
- Genuinely concerned for the whole of the 2025 uncommitted ballplayers and parents who are still holding out in hopes of being seen this coming Spring. Now is the time make alternative plans if you really want to play beyond your HS career.
- 2022 I put 12 pitchers on my roster, almost all of them were drafted, signed professionally or went D1. We didn’t use a radar gun cuz it broke mid Fall & never touched Rapsodo/Yakkertech, not once. 6 of them hit 96 in a game that spring, and here is the secret to throwing hard:
- Story was obviously Yamamoto, but what caught me was Sasaki getting hot in the 9th, & then what he did after Great move strategically to get your main bullpen guy moving around & letting it rip, then, as Yamamoto is doing his postgame, Sasaki goes to game mound & gets dry reps
