- If you earn £50,000 a year you are working for HMRC until 19th March. If you earn £120,000 it’s the 14th of May. Now let that sink in.
- Taxed at 45% on income (plus NIC). Invest any spare of the 55% you have. Then have any gain on that taxed at 39%. Oh and of course 20% VAT on any of the 55% you can afford to spend. But the tax is used well so that’s ok. 🙄 (Note using top rate as an illustration)
