Before they start calling the Buffalo shooter mentally ill... Racism is not mental illness. Racism is not mental illness. Racism is not mental illness.

I'm not sharing that video with the University of Kentucky student, but what I will say is that praising the victim for her restraint isn't as commendable as you think it is. Black Women should not have grin and bear it while experiencing violence to earn you respect. 1/2

Too often Black people, particularly Black Women are forced to police themselves. Some of this is rooted in their own safety and also to avoid stereotypes of being angry. Praising restraint robs Black Women of a natural human emotion - anger. It's also dehumanizing. 2/2

Apart of me feels like it has to do with racism. There is no way that the biggest, most visible track and field stars in the world aren't let in.

Same. Being forced to worry about her job and knowing that you're seen as the aggressor even when you're the victim... just so many layers

I've been soaking and still experiencing zero lift. Pink Friday Nails must have put cement in this nail glue.

Can we stop calling a 21 year old Jax Ulbrich a kid! Last I checked 21 is an adult. He is old enough to not steal confidential information from his dad's job and have his friend fraudulently represent another organization. What he did wasnt a prank; it was cruel

Lets make it clear. Safaree showing up to Nicki Minaj's Miami show isn't support; it's stalking. Don't enable abuse by minimizing what it really is.

Please don't diagnose Dani Leigh with postpartum depression. Especially, when all you're going off of is a man saying she's "crazy." I get that yall don't care for her, but yall not gonna sit here and act like men don't weaponize calling women "crazy" to fit their narrative.
