- Breaking news: in an act by the Board of Education tonight the Perry football stadium will be renamed Wakefield stadium in honor of retiring head coach Keith Wakefield. In the logo there are 15 lines across his name which represent the Federal League titles he won.
- Perry Local School Community mourns the loss of one of its students in a non-school related incident. Our hearts are broken over the sudden passing of one of a Middle School student on New Year’s Day. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the student's family in this difficult time.
