- Jared McCurry, who led John Hardin to 163 wins in seven seasons, has resigned as the Bulldogs’ head basketball coach, the school announced today. He compiled a 163-57 record with two 2-A state championships, four 17th District titles and two 5th Region championships.
- Elizabethtown is headed to the FINAL 4 of the boys' state tournament after defeating George Rogers Clark, 65-44, today at Rupp Arena. The Panthers, 21-2, will face either Bowling Green (24-2) or Ballard (20-2) at 11 a.m. Saturday. The state final is at 8 p.m. Saturday.

- Boys’ 5th Region Tournament 🏀: @EHSAthletics20 defeats @JHHSbballDAWGS 72-63 in the region tournament final. The Panthers win their second straight region title and advance to the state tournament.
- Elizabethtown High School graduate Lauren Hartlage with her best career finish on the LPGA Tour after tying for fifth-place in the Women’s PGA. Hartlage shot a 74 today and finished at 3-under par. @EHSAthletics20
- BREAKING: Austin Jones, who has been the boys’ basketball head coach at John Hardin High School for the last three seasons, has died. In his first year the Bulldogs won the 5th Region Tournament title in 2022.
- Central Hardin junior-to-be Zak Spurrier has verbally committed to attend the University of Kentucky. Spurrier went 5-2 with a 0.95 ERA last season on the mound as the Bruins won the district and region tournaments. Spurrier threw a complete game 3-hitter in the state tourney.
- In her first season at Belmont, former EHS Lady Panther Whitney Hay is headed to the NCAA Tournament. Hay scored five points and had two rebounds and two assists in Saturday’s final. @ehsladypanthers @EHSAthletics20
