    Museums aren’t expenses, they generate revenue. Why do some regions invest in museums while Odisha’s Baripada and Khiching museums remain neglected? While institutions like Jaipur’s Albert Hall Museum get upgrades, Baripada and Khiching stay locked despite priceless artefacts.

    Mayurbhanj had devastating forest fires this past week, a week ago close to 50kg of ivory was found, a few months ago local youth reported on sand/timber mafias in Simlipal. Apart from a few state media, NO national media is covering Asia’s 2nd largest biosphere burning #simlipal

    Photos from Simlipal, please keep sharing photos and videos from on ground. This has been going on for 10 days and we are losing animals as we speak!Many endangered and being primed for illegal patching which will be rampant over the next few days as animals look for safe ground

    Ma and Baba, Jaisalmer and Mayurbhanj. Both my grandmothers are from Nepal (Shah and Rana family) and I have always appreciated my family being a melting pot of cultures:) Languages, cuisines, dressing, and of course embracing different ideas and finding unity in diversity.
